It was a cold and windy night, but 10 of the faithful DVCers made it to the movies. Cawthorne’s, Daniels, Doerner’s, Kaufman’s, and Suffredini’s. Thanks to Jay for organizing this outing, a break from cabin fever.
The Solo Mia is a lighthearted romantic comedy. Nothing you had to think too hard about, a good, fun choice by Jay, our movie critic. Everyone enjoyed the show.
And then for the après-movie, a very short trip to Ben and Irv’s Jewish Deli. Yup, authentic, pickles on the table, pages of menu items, and lots of whitefish. A great place to tuck in on a cold winter’s night. Lots of takeaways, thought I wouldn’t eat again, but no worries, I broke my fast the next morning. The food and service were excellent. It is always a great time when you can sit down with others and break bread.
