After 20 wonderful years of hosting the DVC Car Show, the club is steering in a new direction—one that’s simpler, lighter, and truer to the relaxed camaraderie that has always defined us. As we retire the long-running show, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Pit Crew, whose dedication, early mornings, and behind-the-scenes work made every event possible. We’re equally grateful to the many participants who supported the show year after year and helped turn it into a beloved tradition.
With the close of that chapter, we’re excited to introduce its successor: a laid-back, non-competitive “Picnic in the Park” at beautiful Green Lane Park in Green Lane, PA.
This new gathering isn’t about trophies, field layout, or judging sheets. It’s about what we enjoy most—rolling in when it suits us, parking wherever we land, popping open a chair, and spending an easy afternoon with friends. And for the first time in two decades, the Pit Crew gets to take the day off, relax, and enjoy the event right alongside everyone else!
Bring a picnic basket, bring your British car (or not), bring your stories, and settle in for a day that’s all about connection rather than competition. We hope our fellow clubs will join us as well. The more cars, the more conversations, the more laughter drifting across the park, the better. Whether you stay for an hour or the whole day, you’ll be part of a relaxed celebration of the cars we love and the people who keep them on the road.
Information about the picnic will be posted on the DVC website. For now, mark your calendar, shine up your car if you feel like it (or don’t), and get ready for a new DVC tradition—one built on friendship, fresh air, and the simple joy of being together.
Safety Fast, good friends. See you at the Picnic!
