Car Show Farewell

After 20 years of shows, we've decided to put the show away in the garage.

The DVCMG Car Show: A Fond Farewell

If you are wondering about what happened to our car show, here’s the scoop: the DVCMG Car Show has officially crossed the finish line. 2025 was our 20th and final year — and what a run it was. We wrapped things up on a high note, with a great show and even greater memories.

Yes, there’s been some disappointment in ending the show, and we’ve felt it too. But there’s also been a lot of support and understanding. The truth is, there wasn’t a dramatic reason behind the decision. The show was profitable, well-organized, and consistently attended. We simply decided... it was time.

There’s this unspoken rule that if you have a club — whether it’s cars, knitting, or 4-H — you need a show to prove you exist. Well, we had ours — twenty of them. We did it right. We checked that box, and then some.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the show what it was. To our dedicated Pit Crew — the volunteers and organizers who kept things running like clockwork — your hard work and spirit were the backbone of every event. To the participants who brought out their beautiful machines, thank you for sharing your passion and craftsmanship. And to all the visitors who came to admire, connect, and celebrate with us — your presence made it all worthwhile.

Now, that weekend in September — and all the prep time leading up to it — is suddenly wide open. (Let’s keep that quiet around our better halves... we suspect they already have plans for us.)

We’re not done dreaming, though. A few new ideas are percolating, so stay tuned.

Safety Fast, good friends.
